It costs extra because you’re paying for a more detailed, professional look. Honestly, depending on the size and scope of your order, custom embroidery is likely going to cost more than screen printing. What’s the price difference between custom embroidery and screen printing? Embroidery should be used if you’re altering outerwear, fuzzy materials or if you want your design to really pop. Screen printing is ideal for large orders, large logos and t-shirts. ![]() The variety of products you can embroider far outweighs what screen printing can do. Lastly, custom embroidery is more versatile. That’s not the case with custom embroidery. If you wash a screen-printed shirt enough, there’s a good chance the design might fade. And did we mention durability?! Your embroidered products are going to LAST. If you want a clean design that makes a statement, embroidery could be your new best friend. While embroidery can certainly be used for fun projects, at the end of the day what sets custom embroidery apart from screen printing is the professional detail of the end product. Why should I choose custom embroidery over screen printing? Your clothing - hats, jackets, socks… seriously, we’ll do it all.Your sports - we’re talking matching backpacks and overnight bags, jerseys, track suits, or whatever your team needs.Your event - we routinely handle trade shows, conferences and corporate events that need something extra.Your business - put your logo on polos or button-down shirts and let your employees be ambassadors of your brand.Yes, we can still customize your jean jacket, but now we can do so much more. Much like fine wine, Meryl Streep or that banging mix tape you made for Cindy Wilson back in high school but never actually gave her because why would Cindy Wilson ever want to date YOU… custom embroidery just keeps getting better and better. To say that the art of custom embroidery has aged gracefully would be an understatement. Remember when you bought your first acid wash jean jacket? It was so rad, but it was missing something… maybe a cool patch on the sleeve, maybe your last name stitched across the back… whatever it was, custom embroidery was there to save the day. Before custom screen printing was all the rage, embroidery reigned. It is near and dear to our hearts (and it can be near and dear to yours depending on your order!). Custom embroidery is a technique of stitching a logo directly on apparel. ![]()
